Iluminosity

Iluminosity is a nearly universal religious belief of the Florian race, in the Sun God, also known as 'Lumi' in Florian speech. Florians believe that without Lumi life would not be so prosperous, life wouldn't ever exist. They believe Lumi has allowed them intelligence, therefore to repay in internal gratitude, Florians take care of the Ravaryn planet, keeping nature safe and beautiful.

Tenets of Faith

The details of specific rules imposed under the religion often changes depending on an individual's beliefs. However, the fundamental beliefs that remain constant are:

— Lumi should always be praised and thanked for these gifts, and it's guidance out of the dark.
— Intelligence is a blessing and Florians should use this to protect life that can't defend itself, it is the job of a Florian to make sure Lumi's work is not tarnished.
— Florian must protect life, and never seek to harm it. Only in the requirement to survive, and the progression of the species, may they harm it. In doing so, repent and Inbris (return) what they have taken from the World, in the form of protection and creation.

Worship

Florians worship Lumi during Photosynthesis. When feeling the energy of the star flowing through them, they prey while they are one with their deity. Some Florians like to have events to celebrate the beliefs and peaceful origins of the Florian race. However, due to the geographic distribution of Florians, many preying practices change depending on where a population of Florians reside.
