Yiptin Tales

Introduction

The Yiptin hold the histories and myths of Hallus within their souls and share them around their migrant campfires. These tales have uncanny accuracy even of events outside of Hallus.

Origin

Functioning as a Yiptin Tale itself, the story of how the Yiptin gained their story telling abilities is focused on their creator. As she wandered the continents of Hallus she spent her time listening to the ash so that she would know a story of all things. Upon realizing she knew the all the histories of Hallus and places beyond, she also realized she had no one to share them with. From the stories she had learned she crafted the Yiptin so that even in her absence the stories would continue on.

Knowledge is Power

When the Yiptin gather, even the Divine will sit at their campfire. The knowledge they share can be used by the lowest miner to the greatest Exarch.

Cursed Knowledge

Most stories told by the fire are of past triumphs and discoveries, but not all. Some knowledge carries such weight it can drive listeners to wallow in sadness for the rest of their days. Some things shared have even shattered souls.
