Primal Ice

Introduction

The physical manifestation of Ice Prime. This large, translucent crystals are easy to mistake for blue ice but hold a variety of unique properties outside that of their latent, magical power. Primal Ice maintains a temperature of -20 °F regardless of ambient temperature. At such a low temperature, any handling of Primal Ice must be done with extreme caution. Alongside Primal Ice's unnatural temperature, it has a much higher density than normal ice.

What is a Blue Ice?

Blue ice (also known as glacial ice) occurs when snow falls on a glacier, is compressed, and becomes part of the glacier. During compression, air bubbles are squeezed out, so ice crystals enlarge. This enlargement is responsible for the ice's blue colour.
