Dusk Elves

As the corrupted descendants of an ancestral Summer Court, the Dusk Elves hold onto their lineage, histories, and culture in direct defiance of the Wild Hunt. In a desperate attempt to hide themselves from their Divine enemies, the Dusk Elves doused their ancestral mastery over the flames in exchange for a greater understanding of shadow and decay.

With no direct connection to their original Grove within Heimus, they have been forced to foster their own Arbremere hidden deep within the forests of Uvemba. This Abremere, named Soirarbre, holds the Souls of each past Dusk Elf that has perished within the Realm of the Hunt - preserving their power and knowledge to be drawn upon in the war against the Wild Hunt.

So strong is the connection between the Dusk Elves and the Soirarbre that they can willingly draw power from it, at the cost of physical and psychological harm. Because of this, most Dusk Elves are on the verge of mental collapse and covered in scars.
