Sophont Type

Chitinfolk are Sophonts are similar to Beastfolk in that they are often created by Godbeasts, but can also be formed by more Elemental origins. All Chitinfolk have buglike appearances and are most commonly found on Realms influenced by Primal Earth.

Hiveminds & Pheromones

Chitinfolk society is often heirarchal in nature reinforced with chemical phermones, hivemind mentalities, or biologically-reinforced caste systems. Because of this, many Chitinfolk are deemed unplayable Sophonts. Character agency is important for NobleDark settings, suchas our own, and many Chitinfolk are opposition to that idea.
