Introduction
My research into the dark art of Udirkith flesh magic, Nhazetom, will haunt my immortal soul until the end of time. Its black and vile knowledge haunts my very dreams, and its details remain seared into the canvas of my mind. When I first began my study, I believed these simple machines feats of sophisticated artifice, only now do I realize just how twisted the Udrithi Empire had become. Even the tiniest of their machines built with this dark art requires the blood and sacrifice of dozens to complete. To fathom the death reaped for the creation of a Black Engine turns even my blood to ice. It becomes all too obvious how the First Men met their match in the Udrithi Empire.
To anyone who may find themselves in possession of a book written in blood that never seems to dry, this Tomb of Weeping Knowledge, I beg you to resist. Do what I could not, and throw the book into the deepest pit imaginable, cast it into a blazing fire, do whatever you must to rid yourself of the cursed volume. Do anything but listen to its whispering, close the book, and know there is no fate worse than the knowledge this vile creation will impart on heedless souls.
