Yeshna

Geography

There are purple-blue clouds constantly churning among the surface, but there have been times when the green-blue surface has been seen. These lapses of storms do not occur frequently and do not last long. It is believed that the surface is full of lush vegetation and too many beasts to eat. The storms would make it difficult for anyone to survive though.

History

Yeshna was the last child of Rastaag. She was born to help her older brother protect Rastaag from the darkness of space. Long ago after Begohroth's travels and life had come to Rastaag, the realm only had one moon, L'orbin. L'orbin was known as the only child of Rastaag, a son. His purpose was to provide balance to his mother's responsibilities and help protect her from outside forces. She had control over the earth and rock of the realm, but had difficulty with the seas and oceans. She held strong over the skies as well, but there were threats from beyond the limits of the skies that brought concern to Rastaag.   L'orbin had been visible in the sky since Begohroth arrived and is only mentioned briefly by the Green Couple as "one day realizing they had spotted the peculiar thing above them [as there was no sky at this time] and new that it must be offspring of this realm and felt that it brought with it protection, though many of their creations did not feel the nourishment of daylight with the orb above, they felt comfort in the rest it brought. The Green Couple basked in the dormant properties of the orb, The High One, enjoying the same comfort themselves.   It was after life was in full bloom on Rastaag that Yeshna appeared. The moon came to be in turbulent times, when ancient and powerful creatures were fighting for control and domination of the lands. It is believed that she is a physical representation of the strife and carnage of the world below. Early humans, who had been underfoot while these beings fought, considered this an ill omen. It wasn't until some centuries later that large concentrations of warfare broke up, which led to the later belief that Yeshna absorbed the discord from Rastaag.   As individuals started looking to the sky for more academic purposes debates arose about what is on the moon. There has been speculation whether there is anything on surface due to the powerful storms that are observed.
