Starmetal

This rare metal is only harvested from meteorites. Elven wizards have attempted to synthesize the metal but to no avail.

Starmetal Weapon

Starmetal weapons can be used to attack creatures and objects on the ethereal plane from the material plane, and vice versa.
A starmetal weapon ignores any resistance to damage that is caused by a spell or magic item.
Starmetal weapons get +1 on attack and damage rolls, and ignore damage resistance, when used against:

Aberrations

Celestials

Fiends

Dragons

Creatures with magic resistance

Creatures with legendary resistance

Creatures currently standing on a different plane than you

Starmetal weapons deal an extra 1d6 damage when they hit:

Creatures currently standing on a different plane than you

Starmetal Spell Focus

Spells cast with a starmetal focus can affect creatures and objects on the ethereal plane from the material plane, and vice versa.
When a spell is cast using a focus made of starmetal, the saving throw DC is increased by 3 for saving throws made by:

Aberrations

Celestials

Fiends

Dragons

Creatures with magic resistance

Creatures with legendary resistance

Creatures currently standing on a different plane than you

Esoteric power: When you cast a spell with a starmetal focus, you may choose to forgo the starmetal's normal saving throw DC bonus and instead add 1d6 to the total saving throw DC for that spell. Once used, the esoteric power of this focus can't be used again for 3d20 hours.

Starmetal is immune to corrosion.
