Do you like games? I love games! Mum and dad said I should grow out of them eventually, but I never did. Because they also said anything could be a game, and they were right! I want to play everywhere I go, and play with everyone I meet! I want to see it all and do it all. Because there’s no adventure in an adventure without excitement. And there’s so much excitement in a good game!
But no good game comes without stakes. Trophies, my good sir… ACHIEVEMENTS! That’s what we’re talking about here! I need them. It’s like an addiction, but not the bad kind. Well, some people think it’s bad, but I think they’re just upset. They’re upset because they were playing the game, and had nice things, and someone else borrowed those nice things. With full intention to return, of course!
See, that’s the issue: there are lots of people that give thieves a bad name. Robbing, and murdering, and all that tomfoolery, all for money or greed. So dumb! They just don’t get it, and it makes other people not get it. That’s not my game, and I want nothing to do with it.
I’m in the business of finer thieving! Pilfering, nicking, purloining. That’s my game. And you have to have rules, y’know? What’s a game without some rules?

• RULE NUMBER ONE: No taking what you won’t give back.

• RULE NUMBER TWO: Always tell how you took the thing you stole!
  

• RULE NUMBER THREE: You may only break rule number one or two if someone really shouldn’t have something! If they want to do mean things, or they want to hurt people, then it’s fair game!
  

• RULE NUMBER FOUR: No stealing with bad manners! No take-backsies, no revenge, no one-upmanship on the same target. And never EVER copy someone else’s method.
  

• RULE NUMBER FIVE: Have fun!

You can’t just steal something because you want it real bad. Or because it’ll fetch a nice price. You have to do it for the thrill of the game, or else it’s no fun! Because that’s what this is all about, y’know? People only know you by what you’ve done, and if you’re playing a game and have nothing to show for it, well who are you? Nobody, that’s who!
And I’m not nobody. I’m The Achievement Hunter, Mackenzie Acanthium! That’s what you can call me!
Now you made it this far through my letter, and I know what you’re thinking: “WOW DUDE, WHERE IS MY BEAUTIFUL TREASURE?!” I know, I know, I did steal it. And I’ll give it back!
