Lady Isa Trueheart

Lady Isa Trueheart is the currant head of the Trueheart Family. She is married to the former merchant Teryn Terr and has three daughters with him: Eriya, Rina and Arika.

Appearance and Character

Isa has the Trueheart traits of gold-blonde hair and blue-green eyes, she has a slender body and a pretty face. Isa is often said to have aged well, still described as looking young and pretty.
Isa was never especially physical or interested in being a soldier which was quite unlike the Truehearts before her. Both her father and grandfather was known as great warriors and had prominent roles in the military. Her older sister Ena was much more like their father showing great desire to join the army and becoming a warrior. Isa was always more interested in such things as gardening, art, poetry, architecture and song. She always looked down on herself and thought of Ena as a true Trueheart. After the death of Ena, Isa became reserved and depressed as she thought herself not good enough to be a Trueheart. After meeting the merchant Teryn Terr she started to change however. With Teryn, Isa became happy and cheerful once again, as he helped her follow her own dreams and desires.

History

Early Life

Isa was born in Sollg'anor as the second daughter to Irenik Trueheart in the year 9909. She had one older sister: Ena. Being a daughter to a High Commander, Isa naturally felt a lot of pressure as a child to live up to her father and their Trueheart name. Isa however never showed any great interest in the physical or had any desire to join the army, instead being much more interested in the cultural. Her older sister Ena was everything she was not, she had a great desire to join the army and walk in their fathers footsteps. A promising warrior and a worthy heir to the Trueheart name, Isa did not mind this very much since Ena was the heir to the family.
Everything changed when Ena died in the Siege of Sollg'anor. Suddenly the pressure of living up to her father and her name became overwhelming. Isa started combat training, desperately trying to become like her sister, but ended up having little talent and showing no results. This lead to Isa becoming more and more depressed, always thinking she was never good enough and terrified of her fathers disappointment in her. Irenik however tried to reassurera her that she was fine as she is and did not need to walk in his footsteps. Isa tried to take this to heart but always remembered how her father used to praise her sister and telling how proud he was over her. Isa was unsure of how her father felt deep down.

Teryn Terr

Isa continued to struggle greatly throughout her youth. Despite her father trying to encourage her to follow her own dreams. This started to change however when she meet the merchant Teryn Terr. Teryn breathed life into her world once again and encourage her to pursue her own dreams and desires. After seeing Teryn for a few years he would move into the Trueheart mansion and live together with her, after living together for a year they would marry. Isa would find great happiness in their daughters.
