Description
Tifamyn Nossec is a 4'll Enueru, resembling a golden retriever. She possesses a warm and friendly demeanor with amber eyes that exude kindness. Her fur showcases a beautiful golden coloration, adding to her charismatic presence. Tifamyn's appearance radiates a sense of approachability and curiosity.History
Tifamyn Nossec, a young enueru with features reminiscent of a golden retriever, experienced a childhood filled with simple joys and profound familial connections. Growing up in a small house near the lighthouse, she was enveloped in a warm and loving atmosphere. Tifamyn, the second oldest among her seven siblings, found solace in their close-knit family unit, where social bonds were cherished and reinforced. Tifamyn's parents, Riathi and Inae, played pivotal roles in her upbringing. Her father served as the dedicated lighthouse keeper, ensuring the safety of seafarers, while her mother worked as a skilled barber, bringing comfort and style to the community. The tranquil coastal surroundings and the nearby presence of the lighthouse instilled in Tifamyn an appreciation for the natural world and a fascination with the vastness of the sea. Within this idyllic setting, Tifamyn formed deep connections with her siblings, sharing countless adventures and creating lasting memories. Their bond, forged through shared experiences and a sense of unity, instilled in her a strong value for family and the importance of supporting one another. Together, they navigated the challenges and triumphs of childhood, finding joy in the simple pleasures of exploration, play, and storytelling.Darryl Thorn (neutral Goliath)
Throughout Tifamyn's childhood, she developed a close bond with Darryl Thorn, a respected Goliath wizard. Darryl became a trusted friend and mentor, occasionally checking in on Tifamyn's family and offering assistance whenever needed. He recognized her magical talent and expressed unwavering support by promising to cover the expenses for her education at Strixhaven. Tifamyn values his guidance and regards him with deep respect and gratitude.Marion Haney (neutral evil human)
Unfortunately, Tifamyn's family also had encounters with Marion Haney, a human cleric of Boccob. Marion, would visit the family under the guise of religious devotion. However, he exploited their faith and manipulated Tifamyn's father into giving away a significant portion of their resources. These encounters left Tifamyn feeling taken advantage of and cautious of those who claim piety without genuine intentions.Relationships

Progress DCs: 15
Exam DC: 18

Insight: Every session of ROMF III - Security and Prep for Active Duty feels like a battlefield before the real fight has even begun. Professor Nils stands at the front, posture flawless, eyes scanning the room with the quiet disappointment of someone who knows you could do better—but doesn’t expect you to prove him wrong. His lectures are crisp, efficient, and devoid of any warmth. “Preparation is survival. Hesitation is death. If you cannot make the right decisions under pressure, you do not belong in the field.” His voice carries no anger, just absolute certainty. You knew this class would be difficult, but Nils’ relentless expectations push it to another level. Training drills are grueling, designed to break your instincts and rebuild them into something sharper. Every flaw is met with immediate critique—sometimes a single word (“Sloppy.”), sometimes a scathing assessment that leaves you questioning everything. He offers no praise, only silence when you finally meet his impossible standard. Asking questions is almost worse than struggling in silence. His answers are brief, clipped, as if your failure to already know is a disappointment in itself. He doesn’t yell, doesn’t sneer, but somehow, his cold, assessing gaze cuts deeper than any shouted reprimand. “Figure it out.” That’s his most common response. You’re meant to adapt, to think ahead, to not need his guidance. By the end of each class, you’re exhausted, drained, and wondering if you’ll ever be good enough. But you also know one thing for certain—if you do manage to earn his approval, it won’t be handed to you. You’ll have fought for it.

Insight: Arcane Herbology III is exactly the kind of class you expected Strixhaven to offer—challenging, fascinating, and steeped in ancient knowledge. Professor Yedora moves through the garden with a slow, deliberate grace, her voice like rustling leaves in a quiet forest. She speaks in measured tones, explaining the delicate balance between magic and nature, the way arcane energy seeps into root and soil, how each plant holds echoes of the past. Her lessons are easy to follow, structured with the patience of someone who has seen centuries pass like seasons. There is no wasted motion, no unnecessary chatter—just the quiet certainty of wisdom older than the buildings around you. But she does not invite conversation. Questions are answered, but never indulged. She offers no warmth, no encouragement, only facts. “This is the way of things.” It is a phrase you hear often. The class is everything you hoped for in a Strixhaven course—difficult but fair, full of wonder yet deeply practical. And yet, despite the professor’s vast knowledge, Yedora remains distant, as if her mind lingers in a place beyond time. Her presence is steady, her lessons clear, but when you look into the deep grooves of her bark-like face, you wonder how many students she has taught, how many names she still remembers long after their voices have faded.

Insight: Arcane Microeconomics is exactly what you expected from Strixhaven—complex, fascinating, and just a little cutthroat. Professor Fain, the Broker, teaches with an effortless precision, his lectures weaving economic principles and magical theory into something sharp enough to cut. Every example he gives is relevant, every discussion grounded in real-world application. He makes the subject easy to follow, never wasting words, never losing control of the classroom. But he is not warm. He is not kind. His voice is smooth but distant, like a merchant appraising goods rather than engaging with students. Questions are met with answers, but never with encouragement. “If you don’t understand, then you haven’t been listening,” he once said, and you believe him. There is a certain thrill in his lessons, though—a sense that you are learning more than just theory. Every principle of magical trade, every discussion of value and scarcity, feels like something that could be used. And in his presence, you can’t help but feel like a participant in a silent negotiation. He teaches the rules of the game, but never tells you which side you should play for.

Insight: Arcane Herbology II is proving to be a lot more challenging than you expected. The class is a whirlwind of information, with no clear structure to hold onto. Every lecture feels like you're trying to catch leaves in a storm, with Professor Verelda Lang jumping from one topic to the next with little warning. You find yourself struggling to piece together the concepts on your own because the professor isn't exactly the approachable type. Verelda's demeanor is distant and cold, making it hard to ask questions or seek clarification. The lack of warmth, combined with the unstructured nature of the class, leaves you feeling isolated and a bit lost. Each session is a test of your patience and determination, as you try to navigate the complexities of arcane botany without much guidance. It's frustrating, especially since you know the material shouldn't be this difficult. But with Verelda at the helm, you can't help but feel like you're on your own in this endeavor.

However, there's something unsettling about Professor Onyx. They have a habit of slipping in dark, shocking comments during lectures, as if trying to test your composure. noneInsights
Bhedum “Rampart” Sooviij v- Tilana and Bhedum are rivals in the Dragonchess Club, but this has provided them with a close friendship outside the club. Behdum believes they can learn a lot from her.
- Behdum has helped Greta immensely when studying for exams, through a more kinaesthetic approach, as Greta struggles to sit still for too long.
- Nora and Bhedum do not see eye to eye. This is after Nora offended Bhedum, by suggesting they keep their sword inside the dorm, after they nearly knocked off one of Nora’s art pieces at the Firejolt Café. Bhedum just thinks she was being rude, and ignorant of their beliefs.
Javenesh Stoutclaw v
- Aurora actually started playing at Bow’s End tavern when Javenesh heard her music and convinced Tulk ‘The Bulk’ Tusktooth that this genre was something all the kids were listening to now. He thinks her music is the next big thing.
- Drazhomir didn’t like Javenesh at first, but for some reason, Javenesh persisted trying to make friends with him regardless. Javenesh has helped bring Drazhomhir out of his shell immensely.
- Urzmaktok once helped Javenesh out by patching him up after a fight, so that he didn’t have to go to the on campus nurse and answer questions that would inevitably get him into trouble.
- Javenesh believes Shuvadri is actually the culprit behind the graffiti on campus, and uses it as a way to make herself look better. Days after Javenesh spoke about this openly, he was brought into the campus security offices after reports he had written some particularly nasty graffiti. Javenesh swears it was not him.
- Rosimyffenbip has disliked Javenesh ever since he kicked her in the head with a silkball whilst she was practicing some of her LARP maneuvers on the archway commons. Rosie believes Javenesh did this deliberately, after she caught him fouling whilst refereeing one of his silkball matches.
Larine Arneza v
- Quentillius approached Larine after his first show and thanked her specifically for the time and work she’d put into making it a success. The two bonded quickly and have been friends ever since.
- Rubina suggested Larine take the ticket seller job after she heard it was up for grabs. This, and sharing a dorm together, have made them fast friends.
- Tilana and Larine loved the more active lessons that Quandrix professors offered, and partner up when given the opportunity.
- Larine avoids Greta at The Biblioplex at all costs, as she finds herself easily distracted by Greta’s raucous nature. Especially if Greta has just come from watching a match of silkball at the Strixhaven Stadium.
Melwythorne v
- Nora became good friends with Melwythorne, during the trans-support groups she runs. Melwythorne has learnt a lot about themselves thanks to Nora’s insight.
- Shuvadri and Melwythorne spend lots of time together, often in silent contemplation at some theological idea the other has posed.
- Cadoras upsets Melwythorne regularly, when he uses the campus vegetation for target practise. Melwythorne doesn’t understand the delight to be taken in any form of violence, especially when it is against nature.
- Urzmaktok is seen by Melwythorne as someone who only grows and nourishes nature to later suck out its life-force for their own gain. Melwythorne dislikes this life-siphoning practise.
Nora Ann Wu v
- Mina’s ethics with investigative journalism have always impressed Nora, and Nora believes this has taught her a lot about how she can help the students she counsels.
- Melwythorne is a kind soul in Nora’s opinion, and she loves the conversations they have regarding identity and community.
- Tilana and Nora have bonded greatly since joining Strixhaven. Nora looked after Tilana amidst the chaos of orientation. Ever since, the two are seen spending a lot of time together, and there are rumours that this is an intimate relationship.
- Bhedum refuses to put away their weaponry and armour, even when attending group counselling sessions, leading to some animosity between Bhedum and Nora.
- Cadoras nearly cost Nora her chance at becoming the dormitories resident assistant in an open day she ran, before he was even a student
Rosimyffenbip “Rosie” Wuzfeddlims v
- Cadoras and Rosimyffenbip are a whirr of fast and excitable talking whenever they’re together. Usually they enthusiastically review one of their latest ‘sessions’ or get into an intellectual debate about some new ‘build’ the other has come up with. Rosie thinks Cadoras is bundles of fun and wants nothing more than to see her best friend succeed.
- Drazhomir and Rosimyffenbip are an unlikely dynamic. Almost at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of size, speed, and how much they speak -Rosie finds that Drazhomir’s calm and quiet nature helps her relax after an exciting day at the LARP guild, or after a stressful day refereeing. She has grown very fond of her bookish friend, and mainly finds time to study, just so that she can spend time with him.
- Javenesh is friendly to everyone, but Rosimyffenbip has had more than a few close calls with him whilst refereeing skillball, and is annoyed by how oblivious he seems to be regarding the speed at which he tackles others, especially when he has such an imposing and dense build. This annoyance has bled into Rosie’s interactions with Javenesh on campus.
Shuvadri Glintmantle v
- Melwythorne and Shuvadri love to take long walks around campus together. Shuvadri especially appreciates the way in which Melwythorne uses druidcraft to cause vines and flowers to sprout from the walls after Shuvadri is done cleaning graffiti off of them.
- Shuvadri thinks that Javenesh is a thug, and swears that he is behind some of the more grammatically challenged graffiti on campus.
Tilana Kapule v
- Bhedum impressed Tilana with their ability to morph and change their tactics in Dragonchess at a moment's notice, earning her respect.
- Nora was quick to protect the first years during the chaos of orientation. Since then, Tilana has grown close to Nora, enjoying how good a listener she is.
- Larine is a nice change of pace for Tilana, considering the intense focus required to play Dragonchess at her level, and her physically challenging silkball practices. Tilana enjoys studying with Larine greatly.
- Grayson’s gossip column has brought a bad name on campus to those involved in the Dragonchess society, painting them as a society of manipulators. Tilana believes Grayson is just sour that she consistently beat him at the game as a child, and now he hates it.
- Quentillius and Tilana used to be close friends growing up, however her attempts to continue this friendship have become strained ever since Quentillius accused her of using him for her own personal gain.
Urzmaktok Grojsh v
- Javenesh has always supported Urzmaktok ever since Urz patched him up after a fight. Urz has often overheard Javenesh go out of his way to defend Urzmaktok when people laugh at the orc’s bookish nature.
- Aurora’s music has quickly grown on Urzmaktok, and he has recently helped her experiment with lots of new sounds from living things to add to her songs (some methods to create these sounds are less ethical than others).
- Melwythonre despises Urzmaktok’s point of view regarding life and magic, and this has lead Urzmaktok to avoid the treant at all costs.
- Urzmaktok holds resentment after picking up the slack from Drazhomir whilst co-hosting the opening day. He also gets frustrated when their study group makes plans and Drazhomir doesn’t reply to the group’s ‘sending’.
Zanther Bowen v
- Zanther genuinely wants everyone at Strixhaven to succeed and tries his best to get everyone to like him.
- Zanther is scared of Aurora, and avoids her at every opportunity. He will always be nice to her, but she is the only person Zanther won’t write a note to, to congratulate on passing an exam.
