Velawood
House Velawood are a Noble House of Susilotyh Archipelago dating back to before the Wumirru invasion of Elyara. Having initially resisted the Wumirru, after watching the conquerors move steadily across the mainland of Elyara from West to East, House Velawood chose to submit their island of Gumwood to their new rulers instead of fight and die. Many other Noble Houses of Susilotyh Archipelago did the same, but many did not, instead fighting for their islands. Due to House Velawood quickly surrendering Gumwood to the Wumirru invasion, the new Emporor let House Velawood retain its lands, though now it would be a minor vassel in service to the newly formed Empire of Elyara.
When House Velawood eventually managed to unite The Archipelago 141 AFW - Present, it was the first time all the islands of Susilotyh Archipelago had been united as one self contained Kingdom.
