Sense Voyrish

The Riya Octopus communicates through a telepathic, sense based medium, implanting certain scents, tastes, feelings, emotions, etc into the mind of the being it is communicating with. When first encountered, this can be wildly confusing for the person being contacted, as random senses and emotions begin to flash randomly throughout their head. Only after spending a good deal of time communicating with Riya Octopus is a Gijy able to interpret and understand this language. Written Voyrish was devised and written down by a third generation Gijy around 373 BFW. He is believed to be the first Gijy to communicate with the Riya Octopus, and this was an attempt to write a script based off them that they would be able to interpret. Surprisingly this worked. It is thought that the Riya Octopus were simply intelligent enough to pick up his devised language extremely quickly, as opposed to the language actually being correct. Sense Voyrish is a well kept secret amongst the highest officials of the Sujatene church. Aside from that, only Gijy who are actually contacted by a Riya Octopus are informed of this language.
