Vorua Pleaura

History

Named after the God of home and shelter, Vorua Pleura is an underground dwarf mining settlement. While it was active, it’s primary pay load was iron. It was placed under siege during the collapse of the Menagerie by the Yuan-Ti. It ultimately fell but not before the surviving dwarves sealed the entrance with both themselves and the siegers inside. For centuries the great entrance remained sealed until Welcome Tasks ventured below. When the seal was broken, the adventuring party was surprised to find the settlement was inhabited by a variety of creatures including stone guardians, slimes and a variety of undead. Deep in the settlement where the mineshafts run, the party encountered a bizarre mutant creature(somewhere in the venn diagram of a human, a snake, and a squid) claiming that they had been the one to lay ruin to the mining settlement and became hostile when it encounter a dwarf in its lair. It was a brutal fight, but Welcome Tasks disposed of the aberration.
Now with the settlement clear,Welcome Tasks has set plans in motion to re open the mines. Contracts have been written and a survey team has been sent out by the Miner’s Guild to investigate the claim.
