Sharess

The Dancing Lady

Sharess is one of the deities who came to Qelara after The Cataclysms to help the people heal and recover. Some people welcomed her message of enjoying life to the fullest, especially in the darkest and most difficult times; others, however, did not like the hedonism and supposed lechery Sharess invited. Over time, her message became more broadly accepted, and she is celebrated alongside Freyja when people speak of love.
The priests and temples of Sharess organize lavish parties for the common folk and downtrodden, so they can experience joy and happiness -- as well as some of Sharess' trademark hedonism -- in their otherwise miserable lives. Her temples are also known to feed and care for the local stray cats, and you can find many felines adorning the temples' steps at all times of the day.
Sharess is typically depicted as a human female with the head and tail of a cat.
