Nocturne

The Night Mistress

Nocturne is a little-known goddess of thieves, celebrated by many thieves guilds as their patron. Unlike Cyric , who advocates trickery and violence for evil purposes, Nocturne prefers thieving and smuggling from those who have too much. She does not approve of violence, except as a last resort in self defense.
She was born a mortal during the time of the Great War. She ran the humans' intelligence and spy networks, infiltrating the elf strongholds and reporting back on their numbers and capabilities. Her operations were crucial to the humans' victory in the war, and as a reward she was allowed to ascend after the war with the rest of the human generals.
Her main temple is located in the Thieves' Guild in Vultheim , though no one outside of the criminal circles would know that.
