Nephthys

The Wealthbringer

Like several other deities in the Pantheon, Nephthys was not native to Qelara, but rather sent her servants after The Cataclysms to help society and wealth rebound. She was not as universally welcomed as some of the other "new" deities, since many viewed her portfolio as helping mainly the nobles and ignoring the plight of the peasants or commoners. Noble families welcomed her priests and followed their guidance to increase their wealth.
Nephthys tries to push her followers to use their wealth for the betterment of society: giving to charity, founding an orphanage, patronizing public art projects, etc. She does not enforce these suggestions very strictly, so some of her followers tend to hoard money for their own greedy ends.
Her main temple is located in Donagan.
