Hextor (dead)

The Night Lord

Hextor was the Old God of war and discord. He was responsible for much of the conflict that happened at the beginning of Qelara's creation and for stoking the fires of war between the elves and humans (though the flames did not need much fanning). After the elven deities agreed to depart Qelara, Hextor struggled to enact his plots for chaos and disruption. After several millennia, he eventually found a new foothold in the world and began spreading his chaos and discord once again. Much of the conflict surrounding the Astorio Empire was attributed to Hextor.
About three hundred years ago, a coalition of heavenly beings, aided by legendary warriors from Qelara traveled to his home plane and defeated him, vanquishing him for all eternity. Many were lost in the fight, and the survivor barely managed to escape before Hextor's realm destructed forever. Hextor is the only deity among Qelara's various pantheons to be permanently killed.
