The Gallium Dragoons of Chumdunk
From the ashes of a world gone mad, a shining few Dragoon dragyn riders began a resettlement in the ruins of Chumdunk , eventually crowning it Chumdunk Anew. These rare paragons were brought together in the face of utter darkness following the Cataclysm by a dream of a city of light inherited from the Chumdunkin exiles. Inspired by tales of the great libraries and galleries of New Chumdunk, they refounded the original city as a site of higher learning, artistic pursuits, and protection of the innocents. Under the bright banners of the Gallium orders, the city was built into a rare settlement of peace and prosperity within a world gone mad.
The Gallium Dragoons are subdivided into three co-equal orders, each dedicated to ideals of the ancient dragyn knights.
The Order of the Gallium Staff
The partisans of the Gallium Staff oversee the governance of the rebuilt city of Chumdunk. Their oaths are sworn to order, efficiency, and the rule of law. They are responsible for ensuring the city and its surrounding lands are well governed and smoothly operating. The order, as well as the city itself, is lead by a ruling council, with the chief councilor being the defacto leader of the order.
The Order of the Gallium Quill
This order is sworn to the pursuit and collection of knowledge. A rare breed, these scholar knights and warrior poets are selected for their valor, prowess, and dedication to knowledge and beauty. While many reside in the city to keep Chumdunk's growing librarium, errant Gallium Quill Dragoons travel the world on their dragyn mounts collecting tomes and tales to return for extensive study. Their current Lord of Lore, Chevron LeBlance, is a meticulous hoarder and catalogist, obessive in their passion for the great librarium.
The Order of the Gallium Shield
Lancers of the shield swear oaths to protect the weak, tear down the wicked, and rebuild civilization for the people. They are known for their unerring chivalry and heroic deeds across the world. The Lance Lord of the Gallium Shield, Thinyx the Scarred , has recently spurred intense disagreement within the Gallium Dragoons with his plans to reclaim The Crimson Castle. The birthplace of the dragoon orders has been lost to war and strife since long before the Cataclysm and is subject to seemingly endless debates within the ruling chambers of Chumdunk. Some with to resettle it, some to cleanse it, and some to leave it alone entirely.
