The Order of the Gallium Shield
Keepers of the Flame, Riders of the Dragyns, Shields of the Wastes,
Their Oath:
I. The Flame Endures
We are the light in the ash, the warmth in the ruin. We do not falter, even when the world crumbles. Our oath is to preserve civilization’s ember and kindle it in others.
II. Bond with the Dragyn
A knight and their dragyn are one spirit. We do not own them—we earn them. To mistreat a dragyn is to forfeit honor. To lose one in cowardice is to wear shame.
III. The Strong Shield the Weak
We wield strength not to dominate, but to protect. The defenseless are our charge, the broken our brothers, and the lost our duty.
IV. No Oath Broken
A knight’s word is steel. Once sworn, it cannot be bent nor rusted. Treachery is the ruin of all things, and we will not be its architects.
V. Honor Before Oyl
In a world where oyl is blood and machines are gods, we rise above greed. We do not kill for salvage. We do not plunder for gain. Our cause is greater than barter or bounty.
VI. Stand Against the Wretched
Raider, tyrant, warlord, wastelord—no matter the name, those who spread chaos will know our steel. We do not parley with monsters.
VII. The Order is Eternal
Knights may fall, dragyns may perish, strongholds may burn—but the Order lives in every righteous act. We are not a fortress. We are a creed.
VIII. Steel for Justice, Oyl for the Faithful
We will forge justice in flame and gear. Our engines hum for purpose, not power. What we burn, we burn for the cause.
IX. No Knight Rides Alone
Each of us is a blade. Together, we are a storm. We do not abandon our own. In battle or exile, the Order is brotherhood.
X. Die with Glory, Live with Grace We meet death with a roar, not a whimper. But while we live, we honor peace, build hope, and carry the torch of what once was.
Sworn by oyl, blood, and flame. Long live the Gallium Shield.
