Knogh-Keh

The Knogh-Keh is a blizard beast that lives above the Northern snow line. They live primarily in the Northern parts of Canada, Russia and the North Pole, although there have been recorded instances of them in places like the Himmilayas.   It is described as a bear with six arms and a massive horn on its snout. White, scraggly fur grown over thick leathery cool grey skin. It's short angry snout shows a row of sharp teeth when it growls, showing its blue tongue and beedy black eyes.   Each Knogh-Keh generates its own blizzard, where the beast's location is the eye of the storm. This is the ideal living environment for the Knogh-Keh, who was evolved to hunt their pray in the heavy snowfall. Their big barrel like bodys can plow through up to 14 feet of snow, pushing it to the left and right with its multiple arms.   Knogh-Keh lay large furry eggs that are soft and warm to touch. They grow little by little every day, with the full process takeing 15 months to fully develop. By month 15 the egg is the size of about the size of a wine barrel. When it's time, the Knogh-Keh hatches, trippling in size in a matter of minutes. There is no protective shell to the egg, the beast uncurls from the egg, with the "shell" becoming the beast's back. As the Knogh-Keh grows in its first minutes, so does its storm, its blizzard begins to circle.   The Knogh-Keh are very territorial and are known to cannabalize each other, particularly if a Knogh-Keh smells an egg. Once a Knogh-Keh aquires a smell for the egg, it will hunt the egg down until it can assue it's safe in its terain. The species as a whole can only survive three or four days below the snow line, but they will risk travelling into those territories if they can kill the egg before it hatches.   In the blizzard most Knogh-Kehs have Stranger white stick bug creatures known as 'Blizard-Gliders' A race of dog sized bug creatures that have evolved to hunt within the bounds of the Knogh-Keh's blizzard. The Knogh-Keh is definitly the stronger opponent between the two, but the Blizzard-Gliders are all too happy to pick up its scraps. If hungry, the Knogh-keh will hunt the Blizzard-Gliders but the stick creatures have learned to run along the top of light snow without sinking, making them much faster than the Knogh-Keh which has to move the snow by hand.   The Knogh-Keh are weak to extreme heat, anything that can burn a human, will burn a Knogh-Keh 3 times as badly. Coming below the snow line is extremely taxing on them. They need to exist in a place whos base temperature is below freezing, existing outside that temperature requires them to consintrate on making the blizzard. If the blizzard ever goes out, they will die of heat exhaust in a matter of hours.
