When meeting with the other children's parents, she soon comes to find out that Kamazo's own father couldn't be bothered to show up. Doldrum Shiruton ends up taking Kamazo home after his own party since they live fairly close by

  Killer & Basil get caught, and Orochi coerces Killer by promising him that Orochi wont let Kaido know if Killer submits to him for the rest of the summer season. Killer agrees but refuses to work for Kaido again after the season ends. {this is one of the reasons he takes up employment with Akagami the next summer}

Killer picks up Kidd at about 07:00 and drives Victoria's Punk to the High School. Killer continues to drive Kidd to school. He's working at a lumber yard in town while Kidd is in class and gets off work about 17:00. Kidd works a few hours at a nearby Gas Station after class, while waiting for Killer's shift to end.

Except, Heat and Wire finally got out, moving three hours away to a tiny one bedroom in the capital's downtown together. Some people talk, dark crude whispers, but most just shrug and know they wont be coming back. Most kids never get a foothold outside of this shit hole, but the ones that get out never even look back. Kidd's going to collage - he's just got to figure out the housing part of things, and figure out how he's going to talk Killer into coming with him.
