A large, five-story building, built in 1889 and opulently refitted and renovated just five years ago, it offers the finest and most expensive lodging in Arkham. The views from its upper floors are impressive and beautiful, with prospects across the campus and the river. Important and prestigious guests of the university stay here. The hotel is also the regular venue for the annual Arkham Bees’ sorority formal each spring.   Offering a total of 48 rooms, plus suites, with internal elevators and staircase, plus two external fire escapes. The first floor houses the reception and lobby, back offices, restaurant, conference and meeting rooms, and a coffee lounge. Rates begin at $5 per night for the cheapest rooms, rising to $10-$30 per night for the majority of rooms, with luxury suites commanding $50 per night.
