    Pneuma is a vampire of the noble lineage which is considered a True Vampire since she was born one and not turned. She was Jessica’s newest avatar for the MMORPG Deicide: No Gods, No Kings. She served as an NPC follower in PVP and Guild Battles.   After being transported to the new world she has become a living being and the most powerful vampire in existence. Even though she is not bound to Lilitu or Harahel she still exhibits a love and loyalty for the Guild AFKIRL and all of its members.  

In-game Bio

Born to into prestige and wealth she knew she would want for nothing. Her family built their fortunes on lies and blood but to those on the outside they were paragon of the wood elves. She would be a star atop centuries of deceit and betrayals as her family hid their vampiric heritage better than any other. In order to survive she had to live a life divorced from simple pleasures and train her mind to be as sharp as her fangs.
She was destined to live an endless life of monotony chosen for her by the elders of her family and in service to dead gods. She could not bare the thought centuries passing while serving failed gods. She wanted to understand the world around her and pick apart the stings that hold reality. Nothing pleased her more then unraveling the mysteries that evaded even the understanding of the gods themselves.
No, she would not serve, she would lead; she would not worship, she would defy; she would not bow, she would rule. These things drove her away from the teaching of the bygone era her family desperately clang to. She knew greater destiny lay elsewhere. Despite the protests of her family, she left to explore the world and expand her mind.
Do not think her a saint for abandoning the sins of her forefathers. She was well drenched in the sins of her own machinations. Vampires care little for the morality of man or the lives of the innocent. All mortals are tools to be used and discarded as she saw fit. As her knowledge grew so to did her distain for mortals and her cruelty towards them. They where little more than subjects to be studied or food to be consumed.
That was until she saw him the immortal knight that stood above all others. Harahel the champion of the guild wars and vice guild master of AFKIRL. The sight of him alone gave moved her heart in a way she never felt. Her life was given new meaning beyond the cage she found herself. She followed her prince charming, practicing her introduction, prettying her smile, steadying her heart for the day they would finally meet.
When that day came however it was not what she wanted. Harahel could not be hers because he belonged to another. However, eternity is a long time, and her chance may come should she bides her time. She will make herself better to be worthy of his gaze and love no matter how long it may take. For time is moot to the immortals.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

The goal of Pneuma as the Matriarch of the Will of the Tome is to unify the Dark Guilds under a single religion in service of Lilitu under the instruction of Harahel to infiltrate the Dark Guilds. She Planned on utilizing the Dark Guild as a means to discover how magic principle functioned in this new world. In hopes to find out how the intire guild was summoned.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Pneuma is a slender, tan elf looking woman. She has bright red hair and eyes with heart shaped pupils.

Body Features

Pneuma has an Elf appearance because of her vampiric lineage. She is more commonly mistaken for a Wood Elf because of her short-pointed ears. She has a very petit build which is common amongst vampires. She usually stands with her head down as if trying not to be noticed. She usually has her hands interlocked in front of her and which she will twiddle her thumbs when nervous. Her skin has a tan almost bronzing skin tone. Her hair is bright red and is cut to neck height and falls flat. Her eyes are also red with hearts for pupils.

Facial Features

She has many facial piercings including two on her bottom lip on the right side, one between the lips and nose, on her right nostril, three on her nose bridge, one under her right eye, and the final one on her left eyebrow. She also has four ear piercing on each ear.

Identifying Characteristics

As a Daywalker shares many similarities in appearance with normal elves. Unlike nocturnal vampires she is indistinguishable from normal elves until she feeds which will elongate her canine teeth to sharp points.

Physical quirks

When using higher tiered magical spells her appearance will temporarily change. The duration of the change is the same as the cool down period of the spell. This will darken the sclera to a blackish-gray, elongate her fangs and drain all color from her skin living her unnaturally white.

Special abilities

In the game Pneuma was created to be primarily a divination and anti-surveillance support character in guild battles. While she herself is limited in combat ability to mainly summons and melee attacks. She was designed to take advantage of the summoning system and the divination exploits. Her build being highly specialized to reveal the entire battle field and accurately track enemy movements which would mark all enemies, levels and classes in the guild battle. She could further increase accuracy by summoning up to 14 summons at a time for unlimited duration. She also was able to summon 2 “permanent summons” in addition to the 14-time limited summons. The summoned creatures would be a mixture of divination, attack, defensive, Anti-surveillance, anti-LAOF, and anti-instant kill spells.   As an Arcane Necrochemist she is able to summon lesser and greater undead she can also sacrifice HP and MP to summon greater summons. She lacks large area of effect spells herself however she has summons that can produce those effects. Her race also allows for Time of Day Bonuses. Because she is at her most powerful at midday regardless of weather or location as long as she is on Tomanzin. The multiplier starts at daybreak with 5% increase in AP and MAP every hour until midday. At midday a 500% increase to MAP for 5 minutes and a 600% increase to AP for 5 minutes. After the five-minute period the AP and MAP multiplier will decrease by 5% every hour until night fall. In addition to this attack multiplier she will also gain higher MP/HP building up to a 5x multiplier for 5 minutes at midday for MP and 4x multiplier for HP.

Apparel & Accessories

She has a golden ornamental head chain with three sapphires in jewel incrusted settings. Each of the sapphires has a different small but complex magic circle incased within it which produces a dim light. The five gold chains wrap around her head. On goes over the top parting her hair while the other go around the sides at decreasing elevations.   Due to her low level to keep her from being one shot in the event of combat during Guild battle she was given an extremely powerful armor that would deflect damage to her magic pool. The armor is extremely bulky and is an extremely difficulty to craft armor set. It is possible that the armor had other abilities although they are all mysteries.   Pneuma is one of the few AFKIRL members that has never been seen her true armor since being transported to Zuth. She prefers comfort over protection and as such will only ware her true gear in dire times. She can normally be seen in enchanted lightweight and brightly colored robes with a black hooded cloak overtop. She always carries a leather satchel with her which contains her many grimoires and magic scrolls. She has golden rings on each finger with various gems on each. She also wears three necklaces a unique ability of vampires. The largest of which is a gold-mithril with large enchanted dragonscale diamonds in the settings.

Deicide: No Gods, No Kings

  Pneuma is one of Jessica’s later avatars created for D:NGNK she was created to be a long range divining (enemy location detection) and anti-surveillance support for Lilitu while in Guild Battles. This would allow for Lilitu to locate enemy players faster without using her own manna to do so with the added bonus of staying undetected. She could also use support skills to aid in combat or used as a sacrificial lamb in case of retreat. The character herself was never meant to do anything more than these and so to make up for her lack in combat skill her lower level summons and melee were maxed out. As a single purpose build after reaching level 75 She was no longer leveled up as levels were no longer necessary.   Due to her low level to keep her from being killed in the event of combat during Guild battle she was given an extremely powerful armor that would deflect damage to her magic pool. The armor is extremely bulky and is an extremely difficulty to craft armor set. It is possible that the armor had other abilities although they are all mysteries.   Pneuma is an actor at all times always playing a role to accomplish some goal. She is at her most guarded around Lilitu, one of the few people she truly respects and fears. Part of that fear also stems from the fact that she is uncontrollably in love with Harahel and what that would mean if Lilitu found out. Pneuma normally pretends to be a soft spoken and shy teenage girl because of her young appearance and slender vampiric form. Though this is but one of many facades she will put on.   She exhibits many of these characteristics because of her low karma level from the game. This translated in the new world by making her take pleasure in the psychological, and physical torment of others. Though she will not go out of her way to harm others she will not shy away from expedient and morally horrendous actions if it means she will get results. While operating under the alias of Veil she conducted her “Jolly Nightmare” experiments. The purpose of the research was to determine the effects someone mental state had on their magic.   She captured hundreds of mages and their families. She would torture and kill family members in front of the mage to see how the potency of their magic would change under stress, duress, depression etc. Her experiments would often continue until the mage was too broken psychologically to use magic or until resurrection was impossible.  

Summary

In the game Pneuma was created to be primarily a divining and anti-surveillance support character in guild battles. While she herself is limited in combat ability to mainly summons and melee attacks. Her class was the popular Arcane Necrochemist class which was unique to undead and Dark God races. This class allowed for her to create powerful potions which could be used during guild battles. The Arcane Necrochemist class also allowed gave her unique summons which could buff teammates. She was never meant to fight in the frontlines during any engagement as was used primarily for her summoning and potion making abilities.   Pneuma was also used to create Minnie_Bones as it was required to have an avatar with a -100K to create a Soul Gem. In the game having a -100K or +100K locks avatars out of some quests, so main avatars where not normally used to do this. This made her the evilest member of guild in stark contrast to Eraká the most heroic.   Now that Pneuma is a sentient being she is the culmination of her stats, and the lore Jessica wrote in the game for her description. This has made her cold and calculating but also loyal to the guild. She feels most at home when she is around the guild hall and want more than anything to be useful. Despite her failed humanity her heart sets with AFKIRL.

Pneuma is one of the most well educated of all of the avatars. Being of noble blood and a Daywalker she was given the highest quality education. She would attend schools throughout the elven nation while hiding her identity as a vampire. In addition, she always had a fascination with chemical magic which required an advanced grasp on multiple schools of magic, chemistry and biology.   Being a vampire also meant she was trained in various Dark God rituals that would strengthen her connection to dark magics. She would spend the majority of her time before joining AFKIRL performing horrific experiments to further understand the deeper roots of magic. Being the daughter of nobility, she was also trained in extensively in etiquette though has abandoned most of these teaching unless necessary to gain an advantage.

Employment

Pneuma has only ever worked as an adventurer with the AFKIRL guild. Being of wealthy nobility and a powerful mage, she never had to work if she didn’t want to.

Morality & Philosophy

After becoming a living being on Zuth she retained all of the personality and morality she had from the game. Jessica’s written backstory for the character becoming her real past. In addition, her morality (being -100K) from the game translated in making her a truly evil person. She only cares about completing her goals and is willing to do anything to accomplish them.   This has made her extremely calculating and manipulative exhibiting psychopathic tendencies. She sees only those above her in the guild as worth her time while everyone and everything else is expendable. To her Lilitu and Harahel are the only beings in the world more capable than she is and there for worth following. To that end she will carry out any plan with ruthless efficiency and without concern for her subordinates as long as the job is done.

Motivation

One of Pneuma’s biggest motivators is her love for Harahel. She wants more than anything to be useful to him and for him to one day take her as a lover.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Pneuma is an extremely efficient individual who, because of her level headedness, education and dedication to AFKIRL one of the most capable members of the Guild. She is easily able to read people and adapt strategies to a logical situation. Unfortunately, she does not understand complex emotions which cause people to act illogically. This often leaves gaps in plans she develops which will not account for “human error”.

Likes & Dislikes

Pneuma most enjoys researching the many intricacies of various magic arts. She finds the study of magic to be one of the world truest great mysteries. She also enjoys being around and watching Harahel to an obsessive degree. She dislikes anyone that doesn’t offer any value to her immediate or long-term goals. She also dislikes spicy foods and has a special distain for flutist.

Pneuma can not understand complex emotions causing her to always take the most expedient and efficient root when dealing with people. She will rarely if ever change her plans once she has begone is more than willing to replace her subordinates. This makes her difficult to work with or follow as a leader.
