Dragon Territory
As the homeland of the most powerful races of Zuth the Dragon Territory encompass nearly half of the Destravorlia Continent and several Islands which have become the hunting grounds for the massive beasts. While there are some other races that also call the Dragon Territory home they are not free from being considered prey themselves.
Several dragon emissaries will fly to The Testial Empire and the Elvish Imperium and commune with the rulers of man and elf. While these visits are rare happening once every few thousand years they are crucial for maintaining peace. The Dragon territory is largely unexplored by humans however one conquistador was permitted to see the capital city of the dragons called Heofon.
Heofon was described as followed.
“I had my doubts that the Kingdom of dragons would be any more than a pile of rocks or cave in a cliff. However, I was taken back by the beauty these supposed mindless beast were able to create. Heofon is unto itself, a world of its own, connected by ancient magic and the folding of space by their Almighty God Dramon Pax. It is an impossibility, a perfect world too large to be contained within its boards even if they were stretched out 10,000 times. The Palaces of Heofon number in the tens of thousands each constructed with fine pilers of ebony, ivory and gold and larger than the mountains that make their bases. Despite the massive size of their monolithic palaces they are each constructed to the finest specification and with intricate detail I doubt can be replicated by even the finest of elven artisan with hundreds of years of practicing in his art. “The dragons adorn themselves in gold and jade and ivory as they commune with each other in beautiful songs. I know you doubt that such massive beasts could be politicians, philosophers, doctors, mage crafters, however to them we are the beasts in the fields that live in caves. We are the uncivilized apes that merely play around with rudimentary understanding of the world around them. Heofon has showed me the folly of man and the foolish pride that rules our species. Only the palace of High God Craven compares to the majesty of the Heofon. The Dragon Lord of Lords Dramon Pax is praised though the dragons masterworks.”The Dragon Territory is supposedly home to the only living High God (known to the dragons as Old Deus) The Dragon Lord of Lords Dramon Pax. He rules the dragons and all that enter the dragon Territory becomes His property and therefore property of the Dragons. The Dragons have an enate ability to sense intruders in their territory and will attack if they feel disrespected.
Localized Phenomena
Heaven is located in a dimensional bubble of warped spacetime allowing for the relatively smally mountain range to be home to tens of thousands of dragons and massive mountain sized palaces. The warp in space causes a permanent aurora that can be seen day and night. The intensity of the lights changes throughout the year.
The only dragon known by name is Jeli the ambassador that visits the Testial Empire every couple thousand years. He usually will wear his armor to fish for complements from humans. He as become fond of High Sister Salifi due to her longevity and power and has expressed the desire to take her to Heofon to meet The Dragon Lord of Lords.
Despite what most humans believe dragons are amongst the most intelligent race. Modern Dragons wear elaborate clothing and accessories and have a high affinity for art. This is not the same for young dragons which are wild and driven insane by their instincts to hunt and kill. It takes around 1,000 years before dragon youngling will develop the intelligence to overcome their wild nature. During this time younglings often travel around the Dragon Territory as little more than mindless animals. Once a dragon youngling has matured they will be collected by their parents and civilized.
