Old Lookout Tower
A surprisingly robust stone tower of great age located at the top of Welvai Hill, next to Lookout Road. Crenellations at the top show its previous use as a guard tower. The weathered oak door is boarded shut to keep curious folk out, as the spiral staircase is not very sound.
Architecture
Early Tampisag style of stone fortification.
Tourism
Archaeologists and historians occasionally come to study it. The Tower is also a must-visit for any one coming through the city or staying a few days. Some of the local inns provide picnic baskets for such excursions. Naturally, the spot is also very popular with the younglings, who go there to play pretend.
