The year is 2096, and the world is dying.
Runaway climate change, multiple nuclear wars, widespread disease and famine, and a ill-fated last ditch effort to geoengineer the planet out of a complete ecological collapse has left most of its biosphere scrambling for survival.
In this dying world, Humanity finds itself fragmented and ruled over by corrupt oligarchies and Corpo-states, both hellbent on sucking the planet dry of every last ressources it may still hold.
This is the state of the Earth at the dawn of the 22nd century
But, in the far north of the American continent, in the arctic regions of what used to be Canada, a spark of hope illuminates a darkened city. Will it be enough to turn the tides away from extinction? Or is the planet, and humanity, simply too far gone?
