The Glass Scar

Jutting in from the western coast of Khe-SahurDeha is a monumental strip of glass, which at its widest at the sea is around 200m wide and deep in a circle travelling for around 3km eastwards gradually decreasing in width to a fine point, however retaining a majority of it's depth for the whole duration.   Surrounding the entire length of this monumental glass spine in close proximity to the entire length; culminating in hundreds near the tip, are small white glass tubes jutting into the soil, having no conformity among them each tube branches downwards through the sand creating irregular patterns. These have been formed by lightning striking the sand and forming fulgurites, small glass formations showing the path the lightning had taken through the sand   No one has been able to definitively state how this massive structure of glass has been formed, however scholars have their theories and the townsfolk have their legends.   One such scholar from Ruketha has theorised that in times long past a meteor of magma has fallen down into Khe-Sahur and rolled from the impact point to the tip, leaving in its wake magma that has dropped down and formed this lying spire of glass.   Townsfolk however quite often refer to the creation of The Glass Scar as being the result of two powerful sorcerer's in a mortal struggle and the culmination of their battle leaving this scar of petrified energy on the world. They say from the thing end of the scar is where this cataclysmic bolt was fired, drawing the energy from the very sky and shooting westwards towards the sea.   One lesser known legend is that of the death of Unterecile, the thunder wyrm.   There is no proof that either the theory from the scholar or that of the townsfolk's tale has any truth, however the legend of Unterecile is spoken about in mighty halls by people of power, being passed down from generation to generation.

Geography

The Glass Scar is in the southwest of Khe-SahurDeha and is a large glass shades that stretches 3km inland from the ocean. Apart from the shard itself and the surrounding fulgurites the area varies very little from the rest of the coast surrounding Khe-SahurDeha.    The sand is off white and there is minimal to no vegetation to be seen, fauna on the Sands is pretty much nonexistent and the sea is a clear blue.
