Khe-SahurDeha

Geography

Khe-SahurDeha is a desolate wasteland of off-white sand dunes, close to barren flatlands and the occasional cacti. An ocean encapsulates the land with from the south-east clockwise all the way round to the north-east with a small passage of land that leads into Khe-SahurMoert via the city of Ruketha to the very east.

Ecosystem Cycles

Khe-SahurDeha is dry all year round and it is very rare to see any rain wet the dunes, despite this one can uncommonly see rainclouds and even storms across the deserts, however due to the scorching temperatures and often high cloud based the rain often evaporates before it even gets to the ground.

Localized Phenomena

Due to the high temperatures and little rainfall year-round, if it starts to rain, it does not hit the ground a majority of the time. This allows a rather rare phenomenom elsewhere in the world to become a semi-regular occurrence; thunder-storms and lighting bolts occur across the desert without rain ever landing on the sand. This is more commonly seen closer to the glass scar possibly due to the power of the paragon left within the glass shard, or the build up of static due to the low humidity. This has, however been known to happen closer to more civilized land, with recordings of dry thunder occurring within a couple furlongs away from western gates of Ruketha. In addition to these thunder-storms, the consistency of the sand in the desert allows for fulgurites to be formed fairly commonly when there is lightning hitting the desert sands.

Fauna & Flora

Khe-SahurDeha is home to very few living things due to minimal rainfall and lack of fresh water, this makes it a very difficult place to live. There are however various species of cacti dotted throughout the sands, tufts of bushes of weeds here and there and the odd plant which doesn't need water to survive, but none enough to sustain anything to graze off of these plants.   One such odd plant is the flower of lightning or FurolLyn, which has been noted to live off the static electricity in the air, and seemingly sprouts from the fulgurites found uncommonly throughout the desert.
