Unterecile, the Thunder Wyrm

Summary

This legend tells of the last days of a thunder wyrm know as Unterecile. Unterecile was an ancient being birthed before the races currently dwelling in the mortal realm, created from charges of electrical energy and pure chaos to be a paragon of the deity of disruption and destruction. Able to destroy crops, buildings or entire forests with currents of electricity contained within.

Historical Basis

Unknown to many, this myth is based on actual events, and even though none remain who witnessed this event apart from the pantheon of gods, the myth told today does not vary far from the actual events. As was and is told, Unterecile fell from the sky into Khe-SahurDeha creating what is now know as The Glass Scar, which still remains to this day proof of the event which took place. Falling from the sky after a fatal blow from battling another paragon, and impacting the ground at the border of the ocean west of Khe-Sahur. Unterecile crackled all over with lightning whilst continuing eastward, grinding the ground for around 3km before stopping, whilst slowly the anima of this being left it's body, until finally the last remnants of this paragon vanished; leaving behind only the massive shard of glass. The anima; and with it, it's power, did not actually dissipate into the air. Rather it was absorbed into the glass shard in the ground, deep under the sand. This anima if harnessed could be used to decreasing and destructive effect.

This legend, is known by only a very select few of the highest power and social standing across the land. The reason for such secrecy in this legend is due to the power that remains in The Glass Scar which if known by those who wish to control such power for evil, could be catastrophic.
