Galactic Senate
The Galactic Senate founded in 10,000 D.O. is the governing body of the galaxy. Composed of 10,000 deputies elected by all the nations of the galaxy, it is led by the first president (currently Valos Talothbug of Galata).
The Senate, meeting in plenary session, votes on Senate decrees that have the force of law. A nation that does not respect the decrees would be heavily sanctioned. To ensure that sanctions are properly applied, the Senate has its own troops.
Currently located in Galata, the seat of the Senate has moved a lot. Long located in Valainor, the capital of the Empire, it was initially located in Keitheas, capital of the kingdom of Merildis and the Elven Republic.
