Merge

The Merge was a cataclysmic event uniting the great cities of London of Earth , Rasava of Dunay , and Cascadia of Thael . It came about as an unintended result of the First Gateway Project jointly run between Rasava and Cascadia. It was originally intended to unite just those two cities, but the magic ran through the dead-magic zone around Earth, snapping both cities into London, the largest and greatest city on Earth. The dead magic zone caused the permanent link of the Gateway to fail as well, cutting off all the new residents from their previous homes.
