Warding

A particular magical discipline based on the prevention of magic. In theory every spell has a core structure which can be suppressed. Warding is the art to temporarily enchant an area to disallow a certain magical effect to occur. High quality wards can completely shut down focused magic and some warding designs can fit enough wards to deny multiple effects or even target a complete group of spells like a highly optimized ward shutting down all and every fire spell. Many Warder are also accomplished dimensionalists, as their theories often overlap.
