Lux

The Pearl of the Union. Capital city in the heart of the Freed plains, built on the river that connects Brevoc Lake and Navis. From here the House of the victorious Sun and the 6 great houses govern humankind. It is a huge city situated on top of the river instead of beside it. The disparity in status is apparent as all noble houses have a residence in Lux, but a city so big can´t be maintained without a massive amount of lower class workers. Despite its title of "Light of the Union" and "Beacon of Hope" there is still much work to be done to be able to say that Lux is a city of prosperity, irrelevant to ones status. But not only is it the central point of governance, it is also a central point agricultural importance. Lux was built upon the the river connecting Navis and Brevoc Lake, it´s function more than just city. Lux was the start of the Unions biggest project: The artificial creation of Morkan Lake. A project spanning many years, but ultimately successful.
