Broken bay
Sometimes called the "Blood bay".
thanks to the design of the land this place is the nearest landing point to the freed plains besides Navis. It gains it´s name as it was the most famous battlefield between the Union and the Empire during the great conflict between these two world powers that started long before the Conquest War / Mortal War Conquest War [/history] but stretched into it. With this defensible choke point many elven ships were destroyed trying to land here and countless lives lost, human and elven and otherwise. Considering the masses of corpses and the wrecks of so many ships the restoration and cleaning efforts would have been enormous and faced with future invasion attempts by the empire it was decided to leave everything as is. The notion was put into place by one of the Sevens, more accurately by the one who had been residing in the Tower of Bone at that time, a powerful necromancer.
Nowadays the broken bay is a blackened morass that is still filled with the marks of conflict, both rusted equipment bones and rotting ship remains litter the area. It is a inhospitable place that is suffused by necrotic energies and the most important resource to Dread Shender to ensure no invader may simply pass into the Freed plains.
