Your hand is shrouded in a faint glow and you make a melee spell attack. When you touch a being you feel for their Mana and Mana spark, examining how magically inclined they are.
At 5th Level you learn to feel for the type of Magic that resides inside of it, being Arcane, Divine, Pact Magic or bloodline gifts.
At 11th Level you learn the highest level of spellslot the being has access to.
At 17th Level you can differentiate between different sources of magic and also if magical items are on a creature. The victim of this spell can make a wisdom save, to notice your spying, if it can actively use magic.
