Nitro Crab

Dude! Look at that speed demon go! Who knew seafood could move so quickly?

A small crustacean native to the beaches of Indigo Cove, Nitro Crabs can be seen scuttling sideways at breakneck speeds up and down the warm sands. It can be difficult to tell just how fast they can move, but they are frequently seen moving quickly enough to kick up small clouds of dust in their wake.
Originally nicknamed "Nitro" crabs by a gang of street racers that became stranded on Prismaria early in the latest Age, the name has since spread and stuck.
Nitro crabs are opportunistic scavengers, and are often seen raiding the waterline borders of the Fuedal Crab kingdoms that lie in the cove's waters. Nitro crabs frequently conduct lightning fast strikes, charging in at high speed, grabbing what food they can get their pincers on, then rapidly retreating again before the fuedal crabs can mount an organised response.
Typically raids are conducted by an individual crab at a time, but small bands of raiders have been observed. It seems that the majority of the looted food goes to the swiftest crab in the band, and that leadership challenges are determined by races up and down the beach.
Nitro crabs make for excellent seafood... if they can be caught first.
