Issue #23 Crimson Caps and Fantasy Fungi
Michael, a.k.a. Angel Of Decay, has a dream where he is walking through his backyard. His body seems to be less defined with small tendrils growing from his skin. He spies a small man wearing a red concical who quickly ducks behind a tree. Michael checks it out and only finds a large mushroom. He tries to go into the mushroom when he becomes aware that someone is calling his name and turns to see Joina, one of his housemates, who seems concerned. Michael realizes that he is not having a dream but is actually in his backyard. He checks his arms and the tendrils are gone but the mushroom is still there along with small footprints where he saw the small man standing. Michael decides to contact the team. Hope Rogers teleports to Michael's house. Cady Heron is watching a report about a project to launch a satellite that will build itself to massive proportions to reduce the amount of sunlight that is hitting the Earth to help reduce global warming. She makes her way to Michael's. Eddie Bora also teleports to Michael's. Hope detects Magic trails that lead from the mushroom to Michael's bedroom.
