New Races of Primatis

This article covers races of the world that are not present in other Dungeons & Dragons supplements.

Elf (Valiore)

The valiore elves hail from small kingdoms located underneath the ground of Gloriada . Their origin is unknown and little is known about their heritage, mostly because they communicate little with others. Many have tried to converse with these strange pale-skinned elves that seemingly find pleasure in nothing except the domination and conquest of other creatures. Some scholars believe they owe this behavior to some strange ancestry.

race features:
Darkvision. Accustomed to dark caverns, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.   Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill. Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put you to sleep. Trance. Elves don't need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is "trance.") While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice.   Manipulative Mind. You have the ability to control creatures of lesser power and intelligence. You can attempt to control a creature that is small or tiny and has an intelligence score of 5 or lower. The creature must make an Intelligence Saving Throw or become charmed by you for 8 hours, following your every command as long as the command doesn't directly harm it. You cannot command a creature to jump off a cliff to its guaranteed doom but can ask it to aid in combat, to the best of its abilities. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. Commanding Presence. You have the ability to cast rudimentary spells with the intent of controlling others. You know the Mind Sliver cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Command spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Detect Thoughts spell (targeting yourself only) once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Casting these spells with this trait doesn't require material components. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
