Injury

An injury is a nasty wound with collateral effects. See Wounds.
Whenever you get an injury, roll in the Injury Table, unless the attack was a Precision Strike, in that case, you get immediately to the targeted area in the table.
After that, Roll Vigor to check how bad is it:
  • Critical Failure:
    • If you are Incapacitated: You Die.
    • If you are not Incapacitated: Your injury is beyond recovery, no matter what you do (in case of limbs or eyes, you just lose them), unless you have some helping Mutation. You cannot regain through rehabilitation (experience) either: if you lose a die in Strength, it means the maximum Strength the character can reach is D10. This is cumulative.
  • Failure: The Injury is permanent, but you can raise it by rehabilitation (experience).
  • Success: This injury will go away once you heal the appropriate wound level.
  • Raise: The injury will go away in 24 hours, or once you heal the appropriate wound level (whatever happens first).

91 - 94Head: Scar (APP)Disfigured: Appearance is reduced by a die type (to a min. of 1D4). You get a gruesome scar.
95 - 96Head: Ear (PER)Damage to one of your ears. Perception reduced by a die type (to a min. of 1D4). All rolls involving hearing go to a -2. You need to roleplay this.
97 - 98Head: Eye (PER)Damage to one of your eyes. Perception reduced by a die type (to a min. of 1D4). All rolls involving vision go to a -2, including ranged attacks. You need to roleplay this.
99 - 100Head: Brain Damage (SMA)Smarts reduced by a die type (to a min. of 1D4). You sometimes drool.
