Assassin's Strike

You can inflict a regular Sneak Attack against a Vulnerable or Distracted character. Furthermore, when you use this edge against a Defenseless target, you have the following benefits instead of the regular Sneak Attack benefits:
  1. Difficulty to attack the target is modified by -6.
  2. Damage rolls go with a +6 bonus.
  3. Choose a flavor:
    1. Nonlethal: Grapple to the neck, only unarmed, inflicts no damage, silent. If you manage to inflict Bound to your victim, and sustain that status for one extra round after your attack, the victim is Knocked out.
    2. Lethal: If the target is Shaken or wounded as a result of the attack, the target must roll Vigor (+2 to difficulty if attack was to the head), or gets Knockout, and if you choose so, he starts Bleeding out.
On a partial success, you don't get to Knockout nor inflict Bleeding out to your victim. if you grapple, it only Entangles the victim. On a critical failure you somehow fall, make a huge noise or fall into a trap. You are startled, and your turn is taken by your target. The same weapon restrictions of Sneak Attack apply to this edge.
