INTRODUCTION

Lambert IX was the twenty-third ruler of the Archian Empire. He reigned for 4 years (2319-2323) following his cousin's husband's death. Many considered Lambert to be the rightful ruler, even during the reign of Roland and Aubrey, since Roland and hsi line were half-Ithrinese. Lambert was killed in 2323 during The Ender War. He was succeeded by Roland II, his second cousin once removed.
