Duke Pawlin of Stush

One of the strongest lords of the Kingdom of Lleira in the late eighth and early ninth centuries. He was an uncle to Jaymond of Wiz by his mother, Lathos of Stush. Duke Pawlin supported the king's cause in the fight against his uncle, Duke Archebald of Wiz, and is called by some the person who saved the king from likely defeat.
After the victory, Duke Pawlin has been granted new lands that only strengthened the alliance between him and the king, an alliance that would carry on even after the formation of the Human Empire by now Emperor Jaymond, even after the revocation of most noble lands by the Crown. Appointed the first governor to the second largest imperial province, Pawlin of Stush ruled it until his death from a heart attack.
