The Blazing Sun Tribe

Guided by the Light of the Sun

The second largest tribe next to the Owlbears, The Blazing Sun Tribe follows the teachings of Telithra, Goddess of Sunlight. The tribe idolizes their goddess and her representation, the sun, emboldening all of their creations with gold and bright colors. These creations require valuable metals and colorful dyes, causing many of the tribe members to become proficient in the art of mercantilism, seeking to trade these goods for their abundance of crops and other grown goods. Their devotion to sunlight allows them to grow their crops much faster than normal, along with a much larger yield. While many believe this could only be caused by nature magics, they would be surprised as to the potential of enhanced sunlight. After establishing trade deals and minor routes with other tribes and even the dwarves to their south, many Blazing Suns took up the art of goldsmithing and pottery, seeking to create works as bright and beautiful as Telithra herself. While they tend to deal in more mercantile practices when compared to other tribes, they are not without the strength that comes with their giant heritage. Most guardians of the Blazing Sun become Paladins and Clerics, using the sun's light to embolden and bolster themselves against the dangers of the range.
