Praltior

Overview

  Praltior, a world full of wonder and excitement. Where everyone has the chance to become something greater than they are, whether it's becoming a famous adventurer, uncovering the mysteries of the world, or simply training to be the best craftsman in all the land. The lands are full of diverse biomes, strange monsters, and many different kingdoms full of many cultures. There are hundreds of wonders to find throughout this strange world.  

A World Full of Strange Magic

  Praltior is a world full of magic and many individuals that know how to wield this magic. Many would consider Praltior to be a low fantasy world, where magic is found all around, yet most of it is rarely considered normal, by magical standards, and even the most educated of scholars can't explain how they work or where they originate from. An example of this is the Crimson Stain, an island located south of Kalterrus. The island is covered in a strange red magic which seeps into everything there. This has led to all living things on the island to develop a strange connection to blood. Any scholar and researcher has yet to uncover the secrets behind the island and any permanent effects from short term exposure seems to differ from person to person.  

The Social Nature of the Gods

  Praltior is full of strange wonders and on top of those wonders is an even stranger pantheon of gods. The deities of Praltior have the tendency to interact with the denizens of the world, often choosing champions in times of need. This side of the deities has led to large religious communities in every kingdom, often having multiple deities being worshiped in each civilization. Sadly, this also means the more, sadistic deities, such as Bonic and Disdariel, also tend to interact with the people, usually bringing destruction and despair in their wake.
