Pantheons in Prakaethion

There are two distinct Pantheons in Prakaethion, and a separate but larger collection of gods from pantheons that overlap and share deities between them. The Gods of Scaly Kind and the Goblinoin God have little to no interaction (in their myths and legends) while the gods of the Common Ancestries and Beastkind interact often in their myths and legends and are sometimes even shared between pantheons.

Gods of Prakaethion

The gods of Prakaethion are known around the world, though their individual importance can vary greatly from region to region. For example, Larost, Maristra and Cusipro are the patron deities of the Kingdom of Larostria, while in Acuphera they are minor gods who may only have shrines in the largest of cities. Theologists and priests theorize that this is due to the gods transcending the calamities and so the various peoples left to survive in their wake recalled only those that were most important to them. The stories of the Gods live on, but their importance and emphasis varies greatly from culture to culture as a result.  The gods have one major commonality, and that is that they all have at least one story of their time on Prakaethion. Most believe that this is because all of the gods have either come down to spend time among mortals, or that they once were mortal.  Which gods began as mortal and which merely visited the planet varies depending on culture and religious practice.
