Millennium City Museum of History
The Millennium City Museum of History is located in The Lake District, and is one of the larger museums, pertaining to not just the history of the United Principalities, but world history in general. Being located in The Lake District, a centre for culture, freedom of speech and expression, means they are able to put on displays for topics that some would object to in other cities, such as the near-genocide of the indigenous population of the UP when white settlers first arrived on its shores, and atrocities performed by men on other men during the various wars.
That is not to say that this museum is a place of woe and misery, as it also has displays on the greatest achievements of humankind throughout history; from the discovery of penicillin, to the aeronautic success of the moon landing. From the creation of the first tools used by Palaeolithic Man to those used in modern times to create machines of incredible complexity.
The museum also has exhibits on natural history as well. All in all, the massive museum complex is a place to find knowledge on just about any topic. Recently, they have unveiled an exhibit on the 'Powered Phenomenon', which has drawn a larger than usual crowd to the museum.
