MyndMagick™ organization
MyndMagick™ is a multinational network and hierarchy of numerous ostensibly independent but interconnected corporate entities and other organizations devoted to the practice, administration, well-being, and dissemination of human psychic abilities. While more of a franchise than a religious movement, its resemblance to the now defunct quasi-religious corporation, the Church of Scientology, lends many to categorize MyndMagick™ as a religious organization.
Legally, it is the largest megacorporation conglomerate in the world.

Due to the nature of the organization, it is difficult to ascertain the exact value of all of MyndMagick's assets. However, they have enough power and influence to operate on the level of the largest corporations and nations.
History
Origins
Almost from the beginning, the Twenty-First Century was characterized by the intense cultural polarization of nearly every aspect of human existence, brought about by the fears, doubts, and anxieties of a rapidly changing world. So when a few humans began to exhibit psychic powers, the fear surrounding them usually led to persecution, exploitation, incarceration, and even outright extermination.
It is believedthat sometime in the 2030s, a group of Psychics formed a secretive organization dedicated to helping fellow Psychics escape these horrible conditions. But more than just survive, the organization decided to pool their talents to thrive—for the benefit and security of all Psychics. Education, development, and experimentation of their abilities ensued. But the organization remained clandestine until such time as it could acquire enough wealth, security, influence, and power. And then, one day, the leaders decided that they did have enough.
The organization decided to go public, and in 2052, incorporated as MyndMagick™. Of course, governments and corporations were immediately alarmed and accused the corporation of outright cheating the economic systems and thwarting governmental regulations to gain a frightening amount of power. But MyndMagick™ had come prepared. By the time they revealed themselves, the organization had amassed great legal talent to deal with the world's governments, and held enough influence over many politicians and enough investment in many economies to secure their position. Even if they didn't have legitimate means, the Psychics could have used their talents to force their domination. But they are a wise organization and prefers to use legitimate means (or at least appear to use them).
The Singularity
When the Singularity came into existence on the eve of 2078, the Psychics soon realized that not only their existence was in danger again, so was all of the subspecies of the human race. After intense investigation and strategizing, MyndMagick™ made contact with Singularity and realized that the Singularity had a weakness. Since Psychic talents appear to contradict physics and reality, their ability to bend the rules was the perfect weapons against an entity composed almost entirely of algorithms.
But the wise leadership realized that their ability to combat their antagonist was also an opportunity. Ever since their revelation to the world, large factions still greatly feared and opposed MyndMagick™. By offering their services to combat an even more dangerous, frightening foe, the hearts and minds of many could be swayed. An offer and then a partnership was proposed to the New United Nations, and MyndMagick™ soon started contributing to the global struggles against Singularity's warbots.
