The Council of Reason stands to maintain order and peace in the world. By acting as impartial arbiters the Council of Reason attempts to broker peace and settle disputes between powerful kingdoms before war is implemented.

History

The Council of Reason was originally established by 10 delegates from around the world in an attempt to broker peace and bring about an end to the endless wars that occurred during the Vast Discordance. Established in 1215 3e, the Council of Reason successfully negotiated a ceasefire after 4 years of peace talks and maintained balance in the realm of Portum. That peace would last for 20 years before the assassination of Phoros Sigmar, the Skirantian Emperor.
The Council of Reason would continue to attempt to barter peace between the warring nations without much success. Eventually, the Council waned in power and become known a nothing more than a legend. A tale of hopeful times in which nations would put their differences aside and choose diplomacy over war.
