Captain Broyle Firse

After a long career in the Aumyrian Navy, Captain Broyle Firse sailed off into retirement by serving as the Tourmaline Dream's captain. The flagship of the region was proud to detail that the storied war hero was piloting their ship, making it the safest of all cruiseliners in Aumyr. Unfortunately, the experienced captain couldn't single-handedly save the ship when the Dawn's Island Reaping consumed the ship whole. After dutifully going down with his ship, Captain Firse found himself in the strange world of Islamara.
Charged with keeping the peace and finding a way home, Captain Firse joined the band of individuals that would become known as the Aumyr Chroniclers north along the eastern coast of Islamara. Just before making land the ship carrying the Aumyr Chroniclers was attacked by a Sea Dragon, heavily damaging the ship and killing Captain Firse in the crossfire.
Captain Firse was buried at sea just outside the Masher Reef in Tanaroa and never returned home to Aumyr.

Personal history

Cpt Firse's entire life has been dedicated to fighting the demons and devils that emerge from the Reapings. The initial Reaping occured on Cpt Firse's first birthday, a day in which hundreds of thousands of Portum's citizens were slain to include his own father and older brother. Cpt Firse joined the Aumyrian navy at 16 and climbed the ranks quickly, serving in multiple key battles against the demonic hordes and assisting in the closing of multiple portals.

Education

Cpt Firse attended the Aumyrian Royal Naval Academy before being appointed Captain.

Employment

Cpt Firse was a lifelong member of the Royal Aumyrian Navy. Upon retirement, refusing to give up a life at sea Cpt Firse joined Cyrithium Cruise Lines and was presented the Tourmaline Dream as the flagship of the fleet.
